Today’s review covers a site called Steamlocals. It’s not one that’s going to get you laid every day. Heck, it won’t get you laid at all ever. That’s part of the reason why I’m sharing what I know about this site. I’ve tested and tried it out. Trust me, this is worth reading before joining!

There are tons of sites out there that say you can hook up with local men and women. Some of them actually do a pretty good job of it. They use something called “geotagging,” to make sure you’re in the same vicinity of the people that they’re sending you. They can basically see where you are and go through their member database to find singles in the same area. It’s a really fun piece of technology that can be used for all sorts of things.
Unfortunately, one of those things happens to be scamming you. Sites like Steamy Locals will use geotagging to see where you are, then their system will automatically update all of their fake profiles to be from the same location. It will seem like there are a lot of members around you when in reality, you’re not even seeing real people on the profiles.
Messages Immediately = Scam
Like most scam sites, this one starts hitting you as soon as you join the site. You don’t even have to do anything at all to trigger it. You don’t have to upload any of your own pictures or write about yourself either. Simply existing on the site will make you a target of the scam. Your inbox will immediately start getting messages from women on the site.
The caveat is that you won’t be able to respond to any of them. If you want to send a message, you’ll have to upgrade your account and give them money. It will seem like a good idea since there are so many women right down the street from you. Of course, this is all a lie. All of the messages are being sent by bots and by paid employees to get you to upgrade your account.
Site Created Profiles
What’s really happening is that the site is creating fake profiles with images they buy from other sites. They upload them to their fake profiles so they can send you messages. When you check them, you’ll see that the person is from your area, no matter where that happens to be.
If you upgrade on Steamylocals and respond, you might actually hear back. You’ll never meet up, though. Those new messages are coming from a paid employee of the company. You’ve just been scammed and it will go on for as long as it takes you to figure it out.

Steamy Locals really has nothing at all for you. There are plenty of other sites out there that can actually connect you to real people. This one never will. It only exists to take your money from you. The more time you spend on the site, the more you’ll spend and still have nothing at all to show for it. If you don’t want to get tricked, just stay away from it. There’s no reason for you to risk getting yourself duped by these people.
